I have gotten so far behind on my blogging. It's quite unreal. I am going to try my best to blog at least once a day and possibly a couple posts a day! Thank you to everyone who supports my love of photography and allows me to do this as a "job". Many of you know, if you follow me on Facebook, that on Dec. 9th. we brought home a new puppy. Well, let's just say he's one of the reasons I'm so behind on blogging. He's been a challenge. I wasn't sure it was going to work out with him and Lucky. They still aren't the best of friends, but I am hoping and praying that will change. He is now 5 months and 10 days old and weighs 50lbs. He has slowly stolen my heart even though he's a little toot a lot of the time :) He is just 4 months old in the photos I am posting. Also, my Lucky girl is getting up there in age. We just celebrated her 12th birthday on St. Patrick's Day. Since I rescued her in the month of March, we found that to be a fitting birthday for her. She is so sweet and one of the best things that has ever happened to me. In the last photo posted below, she is wearing the collar of one of the best gifts she ever gave me, her sweet Sulley. We miss him so much and this new puppy thing has flooded me with so many different emotions. He is so different from Sulley but as he grows, and becomes more of a dog, he reminds me of my sweet boy. OH this little one is so sweet and full of personality. One year sessions are always so much fun. I love when the parents brings a favorite toy and a little birthday themed outfit. I've been with this family since her mommy was a senior in high school. I shot their wedding and then was blessed to capture their beautiful daughter's first year. I ADORE this family and look forward to many more years with them.

Well, I always say better late than never. I do apologize for not blogging in forever. Sometimes life just takes a little more time and other things are put on the side burner. Here is a newborn session from a couple of months ago. She was a pretty good sleep fighter but we still managed to get a good variety for mom and dad. She's such a beauty and if she is half as cute as her big sister, daddy is really going to have to keep close watch on the little boys.

This family is so special to me. I've been with them from their first son to their second son and now to their first daughter. I have to say watching these sweet boys (and they are so sweet) love on their baby sister was something very special to witness. I know mommy and daddy will be very protective of her as she grows up, but having these two older brothers should ease their minds some. I was so excited to meet this beautiful little bundle of joy. I am friends with her parents, so this was so special to me to be able to capture these sweet memories for them. I knew they would both be amazing parents and so smitten with their little sweetie and WOW, I was not wrong. They are such amazing parents! I love seeing my friends become parents for the first time. What a beautiful family they are!

Love this family and this little man. It's hard to believe he is now 4 years old! I absolutely loved this session of his. As you can see I was so drawn into his beautiful eyes. And that hair...little boys with curls just melt my heart!
