She is thoughtful. She is soft spoken. She is smart. She is beautiful. She is grateful. She is appreciative. She is funny. She is talented. She is a big part of my heart. And I love her very much.
What an ease this beautiful senior was to shoot. We had such a great time taking these. We also did her boyfriend's shoot at the same time. I love my Kaukauna kids!!! I may have a space or two left over in July for a couple more senior shoots in Wisconsin! Contact me if you are interested.
Believe it or not, every year at this time I am flooded with last minute senior shoots. On my summer trips home, I enjoy scheduling a few shoots. I was very excited when this beauty's mom contacted me. Her mom and I went to high school together. How am I this old? (Right, Tracy?) We also happened to have our moms both in the hospital on the same floor back in May. A crazy hard time I'm sure we are so glad is behind us! I had an absolute blast with Emily. We are a lot alike in many ways. We have passion for the things we love to do and the people and furry family members that surround us. She is not only beautiful...she is kind, compassionate, loving, dedicated, hard working and smart. I'm sure her parents can add a lot more to that list, but those are the things that really struck me about her. What a great testament she is to her parents. I know they are proud of her and very well should be! Good luck in all that you do sweet Emily! Continue to shine your light and love into the hearts of those you love, those who cross your path, and those that are in need.
I have gotten so far behind on my blogging. It's quite unreal. I am going to try my best to blog at least once a day and possibly a couple posts a day! Thank you to everyone who supports my love of photography and allows me to do this as a "job". Many of you know, if you follow me on Facebook, that on Dec. 9th. we brought home a new puppy. Well, let's just say he's one of the reasons I'm so behind on blogging. He's been a challenge. I wasn't sure it was going to work out with him and Lucky. They still aren't the best of friends, but I am hoping and praying that will change. He is now 5 months and 10 days old and weighs 50lbs. He has slowly stolen my heart even though he's a little toot a lot of the time :) He is just 4 months old in the photos I am posting. Also, my Lucky girl is getting up there in age. We just celebrated her 12th birthday on St. Patrick's Day. Since I rescued her in the month of March, we found that to be a fitting birthday for her. She is so sweet and one of the best things that has ever happened to me. In the last photo posted below, she is wearing the collar of one of the best gifts she ever gave me, her sweet Sulley. We miss him so much and this new puppy thing has flooded me with so many different emotions. He is so different from Sulley but as he grows, and becomes more of a dog, he reminds me of my sweet boy.
